Description

Our current research line is devoted to understand the contribution of plant innate immunity to antiviral responses and to dechiper the molecular mechanisms of immune regulation during viral infections. Virus perception by intracellular receptors leads to dramatic changes in cell metabolism, which include misregulation of several master regulators of plant immunity. Perturbations in plant immunity drastically compromise plant fitness and as a result, plant immunity has to be highly controlled.
