CIB participates in teacher training courses offered by the Community of Madrid

The last teacher training course taught by CIB for 2018/2019 season ended on July 5th. This course, called "Border research in biomedicine and health, and new trainings", lasted one week, in which the participants attended talks by researchers, developed practical activities and visited scientific services and the library.

In January and March took place the other two courses offered by the CIB: "Controversies in biology and biomedicine with social consequences" and "New techniques in genetic research". These three courses, managed by Mercedes Jiménez, are again in CSIC's offer to the Education and Research Mystery of the CAM for 2019/2020.

Since 2004, CSIC offer yearly courses in different areas addressed to high school and vocational training teachers and aimed at update their scientific knowledge. With these activities, the CIB contributes to the scientific training of the teachers and their updating in the contents of the different areas and subjects in order to transmit this knowledge to the students and promote scientific vocations in the new generations.
