Description

We have found that mechanical stress caused by cell migration is capable of promoting permanent changes in the nucleus, leading to increased genomic instability, DNA damage, and alterations in cellular functions related to survival and migration (de Lope Planelles et al., Cell Mol Life Sci, 2023). Also, we are investigating whether the 3D environment could promote permanent changes in the nucleus of leukemia cells, as well as the potential role of cytoskeleton proteins in these changes.
