Award ceremony of the XI Francisco Cobos Award for biomedical research

On October 18th, 2017 at 16:00 in the main lecture hall of Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas will take place the ceremony of announcement of the XI FRANCISCO COBOS Award for biomedical research that has been awarded to Professor Eduard Batlle Gomez, researcher at the Biomedical Research Institute (IRB) in Barcelona. Likewise, the Eduardo Gallego Postdoctoral Scholarships will be delivered to D. Pablo José Fernández Marcos, IMDEA Alimentación (Madrid) and Dña. Meuri del Camino de Juan Romero, Universidad Miguel Hernandez de Elche.

The event will also include a scientific conference given by Professor Rafael Yuste, ideologist of the BRAIN Project and researcher at the University of Columbia (New York), under the title "New Neurotechnologies: Implications for Science, Medicine and Society."

Held in the CIB for several years, this scientific event will be attended by the President of the Francisco Cobos Foundation.
