
AItenea Biotech, the company co-founded by the Margarita Salas Center for Biological Research investigator Nuria E. Campillo, has been selected as a partner of the DIH-Bio (Digital Health Biosciences), digital innovation center coordinated and promoted by the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM).
AItenea Biotech is a technology-based company committed to research and innovation in the field of the application of artificial intelligence to solve specific problems in different industrial sectors, such as pharmaceutical companies, personalized medicine, new materials, energy resources, or sustainability and environment.
Founded in 2020 as a spin-off of the CSIC, CONICET, and the Universidad del SUR (Argentina), AItenea Biotech has been recently selected as a partner of DIH-Bio considering that the mutual collaboration can specifically contribute to a better digitalization of the health sector in the Community of Madrid.
The digital innovation hub DIH-Bio coordinated by the UAM promotes strategic areas such as biotechnology, life sciences, and digital technologies. It brings together 36 entities, which already include AItenea Biotech.
