The objective of the Unit is to comply with the principles established by the CSIC preventive policy to guarantee maximum effectiveness in the management of occupational risk prevention.
Our tasks, among others:
- Maintain updated the preventive documentation of the Center, as established by the Occupational Risk Prevention Law 31/1995.
- Presentation of the Welcome Plan to newly incorporated personnel.
- Management of the Coordination of business activities (CAE).
- Advice and management of preventive documentation in field campaign activities.
- Manage the updating of the Self-Protection Plan and Implementation of the Plan (drill).
- In collaboration with the CSIC Health Surveillance Service: management of annual medical examinations, actions in case of accidents, evaluation of jobs for sensitive personnel and pregnant women.
- Announcement of courses and training activities.
- Collection of hazardous chemical waste and management of its removal from the Center.
