
The company Altenea Biotech founded by Dr. Nuria Campillo, researcher at the Margarita Salas Center for Biological Research (CSIC), received last April 11 the first prize within the MadridNorteDigital - Knowledge&TechTranfer award in an event organized by InNorMadrid, together with AICA and the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), where Mential and Aygloo were also awarded.
These awards recognize and support innovation, digitization, and knowledge transfer between companies in the north of the Community of Madrid and research groups of the Autonomous University of Madrid.
The awards, which were presented at a ceremony held at the UAM, have highlighted the innovative contributions in Health and Artificial Intelligence of these three companies. The event was attended by representatives of the industry and the university, giving visibility to the most innovative projects with the greatest growth potential, to promote the transfer of knowledge and technology between science and business.
Along with AICA, InNorMadrid, and UAM, the business associations ACENOMA, AETC, and ASEYACOVI and the companies Grupo GMV and ABP Consultancy collaborated in the event.
